In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, our amazing friends at WITNESS created this video about the images that opened their eyes to human rights abuses around the world.

And now WITNESS wants to hear from you!

1) Respond with video message on the WITNESS Hub

If you are a member and have your video ready, you can upload now. Make sure to tag your video “UDHR60″ If you are not a member, join now - it is free and easy - then you can upload. Check out our new Top 5 Upload Tips to help save you time and get more views of your video.

2) Respond with text

If you cannot respond with video, join the conversation by leaving a comment on the HUB page or below in our comment section.

3) Respond with video on YouTube

If you have an account on YouTube, upload your video as a response to the WITNESS video. By uploading a video response, all of the UDHR 60 videos will be viewable in the same place and help attract more people to the conversation. Make sure to tag your video “UDHR60.” You can also post a comment or rate or video on YouTube.

Thanks Wendy - we’d love to even see people respond to the question right here in the comments thread on TakePart. Maybe it was Tienanmen Square, or the release of Nelson Mandela or something you saw in your own neighborhood.
