For those of you still mourning the supposed premature demise announced by Who Killed the Electric Car?, fear not, electric cars shall have their day! From the inquisitive minds that brought you the first film, comes the sequel: Revenge of the Electric Car. Powerful forces, which couldn’t make a buck from a vehicle that didn’t require gas, sought to quell the growing popularity of electric cars, but rising gas prices, a flailing auto industry, and ever-improving technology have hopefully set the stage for a triumphant return. Still have doubts? They haven’t released a trailer yet, so watch this electric Datsun crush a Corvette in a drag race:
I’m anxious for a more optimistic conclusion than the first film, and hopeful that Son of the Electric Car won’t be a neccesary follow-up.

Just watched your racing video, fantastic. I am just finishing restoring a 1960 Triumph TR3 (2135 lbs). I have a second Triumph that I am thinking of restoring and have been considering converting it to electric. After watching your racing video this AM, I am totally convienced on an electric conversion. I am located in central eastern WA, hope to see you race sometime.

I was thinking of having a midlife crisis, and I thought a TR3 electronic conversion would be just the ticket! I have never had a classic car, and never even bought a new car before, so my knowledge about how to go about finding a TR3 electric conversion is zilch, or what I might expect to pay. Anyway, if you have some suggestions, I’d like to hear them.
Who said electric cars were slow??? I like to show them this movie, bet they feel real stupid now
Go Electric!
