December 10th 2008 marks the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In honor of this historic date, Amensty International USA launched the Protect the Human campaign and website: a place to connect with people from all over the world who will stand together to protect our basic human rights.
The website is incredibly rich with film, music, an interactive google map, information on the declaration and various ways you can take action and spread the word. My favorite section is an interactive mosaic that explains each of the 30 articles from the UDHR. (see the screen shot above). To launch this page, click here and then click in the window area somewhere around Yoko Ono.
Join the movement today and takepart with Amnesty International USA’s Protect the Human campaign.
