A lot of folks are trying to do more with less this holiday season, which requires more creativity on everyone’s part. A great example of creativity like this in action comes from A Cup Of Jo’s Joanna and her boyfriend Alex. (they threw the depression era 1930’s party I went to). Alex writes for The New York Times and recently did a piece about throwing cheap dinner parties. He had the help of a party planning guru and together they put together a pretty great evening for only 30 dollars a head (including wine, food and decorations). Even better, the meal was completely vegetarian - no meat! Which is a major plus for me.
You can see the slideshow, along with a voiceover explaining the party by Alex, HERE and you can read the article HERE. There are some great ways you can spruce up a holiday or dinner party at your place without breaking the bank. Also, be sure to takepart to learn how vegetarianism can be healthy along with saving you money.
