I’m a big fan of director Abderrahmane Sissako (he made Bamako, one of my favorite films from last year) so I was really excited when I learned that he had created a film with Scenarios From Africa, a community education and media project about HIV/AIDS carried out by and for young people. The film is based on original ideas by Kossi Yesunyo Gossou an 18 year old from Togo and Régis Nkouma a twenty year old from the Republic of Congo.
And it’s below in honor of World AIDS Day. So watch and then be sure to takepart with Scenarios From Africa.
