How Wal-Mart Got There…

I still can’t get thoughts of the man being trampled at Wal-Mart out of my head. I’m still slightly amazed that this has happened (although not really). It makes me embarrassed to be part of this culture. The rest of the world must be looking at this news with disgust. I don’t blame them!
This is my newest poem on the very topic!!
GOD is NOT GOLD
Ever since man has been on this earth.
We have searched for our GOD with all of our worth.
There have been many a quest that enraptured our men.
Not just GOD, but GOLD, youth, love, and mystical Zen.
To the many foreign lands we decided to take,
We brought death and destruction. WE MUST AWAKE!
Was to own all the wealth our capital right?
Or did we have to steal it with all of our might!
We need to stop now or at least to slow down;
Or the green will all go and we will have brown.
Our leaders and the elite must set a new pace.
For the love of your GOD please, save our race.
Women bleed so babies live. Don’t you dare kill.
Torture, abuse, and murder are not what you will.
Take the L out of GOLD. You MUST take it out.
“GOLD IS NOT GOD!” All who can, please shout!
