I haven’t liked Atom Egoyan as of late, but I am fan of a lot of his earlier work (I love The Sweet Hereafter).  The reviews out of Cannes for this film seemed to suggest that Adoration was more in line with his earlier efforts so I have some hope!

The film won the ecumenical jury prize at Cannes, the award honors films with spiritual values - so takepart and read up on the history of the award and check out some of the other films that have won.
