I know that most beverages are vegetarian but I’m posting this punch anyways! I think I posted this recipe back at Halloween but it is so good it deserves another go, especially since it is the perfect Thanksgiving drink.
Spiced Cranberry Cider
2 quarts apple cider
1and 1/2 quarts cranberry cocktail
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 three-inch cinnamon sticks
1 and 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves
Combine all ingredients in large pot. Heat to boiling; reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 - 30 minutes. With slotted spoon, remove cinnamon sticks and cloves.
Also - in case you missed it - here are my recipes for the best vegetarian gravy EVER and a super tasty and body warming corn and green bean casserole.
Also also, takepart to learn more buying better sugar!

Ooh! So simple, but sounds so good. I volunteer for Eat Well Guide, a free online directory for local and sustainable foods, and this Thanksgiving we’ve partnered with Consumers Union to issue a Local and Organic Food Challenge. We’re inviting people to take a spin on the Eat Well Guide to find local food and cook at least one local (preferably organic) dish for Thanksgiving, and share recipes at the CU site. You should check it out, I’m sure these recipes would be a major hit! You can read more about it at the Green Fork:

I’m loving your recipes!
