Katie Couric and David Letterman played big roles this election season when it came to the Republican ticket. Katie Couric gave a now famous interview with Governor Sarah Palin and David Letterman gave Senator McCain quite a hard time when he canceled his Letterman show appearance (and actually met with Couric instead).
The other night Couric sat down with Letterman and the two rehashed the election and her interview with Palin. Katie does a good job of not bashing the Governor despite the egging on of Letterman.
My favorite part? Letterman claiming that the reason Palin didn’t answer Couric’s reading question is that she didn’t want to offend people who don’t read. Brilliant sir!
takepart to help encourage kids to read in hopes that there won’t be anyone who doesn’t know how to! (so Sarah Palin can finally tell us what she reads next election)
