Waxman and the democrats are talking about cap and trade, while Europe is abandoning it as it was too expensive and not effective. This kind of environazism will kill our country and not help the environment, because carbon is not the problem. The only reason that carbon was chosen is because it is the only way that those charlatans behind this nonsense could make a buck. Wake up America, this is an absurd and dangerous path to let yourself be led down.

Only idiots have swallowed the globaloney nonsense. CO2 is good for the planet…plants need it. Gore flies around in his JET and lies to anyone who will listen to him. His house uses more energy than any 10 average family homes. But yet he would dictate (hmmm….dictator???) to us what we have to do and how we have to live. Enviromental NAZIS have consumed the kool-aid and it has poisoned their minds. Like Jim Jones’ followers they believe they must kill a bunch of people to save their movement. The sad thing is that we have lost this war. The enviro-nuts have won the hearts and minds of the politicians and the youth.

I love how any documentary film that isn’t liberally biased immediately gets attacked by the media. I am not a conservative by an means, by the recent election and the reaction to this film are astounding. This is another way for the world governments to set up a new system of tax, and a new way to control people. The only thing ‘convenient’ about global warming is that there are already entire careers, industries and billions of dollars at stake on ‘fighting global warming’. Sorry to say, this smacks of another never ending war on terror to me…one more excuse for corporations to get wealthy off the back of the poor and developing countries.

With studies showing that CO2 levels rise as an after effect, not a causing factor, of global warming and even the five year mean global temperature dropping, the yearly global mean temperature peaked in 2000 and has been dropping since, this author still sides with ‘the sky is falling’ crowd. It’s sad when evidence is ignored in favor of opinion. If the ice caps were melting so quickly and continually many island nations would already be gone. These are places that are inches above sea level and have been for centuries. If the study in Hong Kong had not been carried out in a spot where the ocean floor was sinking they would not have come up with a multiple centimeter yearly rise in ocean levels, in the late ninetys, that would be nearly a foot rist by now. It hasn’t happened. The gloabl mean temperature is NOT rising. And all the people who protested Nuclear power plants in the eightys and protesting carbon emmisions now. Which is funny considering our carbon emmisions would be much lower and our energy much cheaper if they had let them be built. Charismatic charlatans will never lead us to a good end, wake up people.

I love that a voluntary film is labeled “Propaganda” but making students watch Al Gore, who is not a scientist, in science class is just part of the curriculum? The closer people get to the truth the harder those who stand to lose something from the truth, will fight to hide it from them.

The Renasaince period was several degrees fahrenheit warmer than our current climate. That is what brought the world out of the dark ages and into prosperity. So it stands to reason that a warmer climate would actually benefit the third world countries of today by offering them increased agricultural prosperity and a larger supply of fresh water (more water surface leads to more rain, leads to more fresh water streams and rivers).

I don’t think Global Warming is a scam at all. There is a mountain of evidence to suggest a temperature increase in so short a period of time will have an extensively negative effect on the natural order that has taken so many billion years to establish. Changes in climate have occurred before, but not with the rapidity which climatologists - many of whom do not have a political agenda, despite some public opinion to the contrary - are predicting. A warmer climate might not end the world, but it will cause widespread destruction and extinctions. It’s true that corporations and politicians are getting on the global warming bandwagon for their own deviant purposes, but that this is true shouldn’t make us doubt this terrible human-induced phenomena. There is evidence on both sides, and those sides need to be closely examined. But dismissing this threat as a hoax is choosing ignorance for peace of mind’s sake. It’s truth we want, not convenience; having to face the threat many are predicting is difficult. Yet difficulty should not prevent us from facing facts, whether those facts are publicly accepted or otherwise.

We HAD global warming from 78-98 no way around it. The issue is was it becasue of C02?
Since we have now had 10 years of no global warming and even some global cooling and the c02 level has continued to rise the evidence say c02 is not the issue. One of the worst things
about the global warming scam is that real issues are being ignored as it is easy to yell
global warming is and oil company problem and then go back to dumping your plastic bags
in the ocean. Wake up if you really care, co2 driven warming is a lie. Now lets get to work on
the elimination of real issues, over fishing, plastic bag and bottle pollution everywhere, the lossof rain forrest all over the globe etc.

The biggest issue I have with radical greens is they never look back. The death of millions in the aftermath of banning DDT, which was based on faked experimentaion and and likely bribes by the Sierra Club,and still no regret, no appology, no accountability. global warming is a scam, and ALL the real science tells us so. But the Gore’s of he world are making bank on the lie and will continue too as long as people who really care about the environment do not really pay attention and sort out thr truth from the bull.

You may think it propoganda, and I have not seen the film, but the truth about the ban of DDT is a crime and THAT story should be told. Those who casused the avoidable deaths of so many children should be made to account for their actions. There is of course a rasist component to it as it was “just” African and Aisin children that dies by the millions. How so these people sleep at night?
