When I lived in San Diego, it took me a full two-plus years to find a farmer’s market - when one ended up being literally two and a half blocks from me. If only I had had a way to find the nearest market, or even the nearest green grocery or co-op close to me, how much better my life could have been (for the record, Henry’s Markets in San Diego are fan-effing-tastic)! But where might I find such a green guide?
Well, MSN Green has got you covered, friend. Powered by Local Harvest, the Local Food Directory tells me where I can find what near me…the picture above is the capture of me searching for farmers’ markets in my zip code…and there are 20 within four miles of the zip.
BUT THERE’S MORE. Your good friend and my fellow blogger Danny forwarded along the Eat Well Guide, which directs you towards “whole, fresh, sustainable food in the US and Canada.” How can you NOT win?
So takepart to visit the MSN Green guide, and also takepart to visit Eat Well Green.
