I can’t help but wonder what Dave Matthews is doing in the same film as Sissy Spacek

Lake City doesn’t look half bad, but the narration over the trailer KILLS ME. It is so cliche and so ridiculous. Ugh.  Putting that aside it has an interesting cast (really good folks like Spacek and Keith Carradine and some super random folks like Dave Matthews and Rebecca Romijn) and I’m always a sucker for films set in the south.

Overall though this may be typical Indie fare. Which isn’t really a good thing.

But even though I don’t like a lot of American independent cinema, it is important to support it, so takepart with IFP (in hopes that AIC will turn a new corner!)
