Your Super Sunday Vegetarian of Awesomeness is Sir Paul McCartney, Because I am Lazy Posted by Andy Kondrat on November 16, 2008 at 6:40 pm

Your Super Sunday Vegetarian of Awesomeness for today is Paul McCartney (SIR Paul McCartney to you), of this band called The Beatles, because I am extremely lazy today and hey why not.  A while back, I purposely stopped listening to The Beatles for about a year just so I could rediscover them to hear how good the band really is.  It’s hard to really get how amazing The Beatles were, when you hear so much of it all the time.  But listen to this track, “Tomorrow Never Knows,” off Revolver, and tell me that drum part, and really all if it, couldn’t be released today, maybe as a Radiohead song.

That might be my favorite song of theirs.  It’s hard to decide which songs to highlight here…because, you know.  It’s The Beatles. How about…ummm…a kinda cool video for “Don’t Let Me Down”?

Now, some of you might be saying, “But Andy, it seems like you’re highlighting John Lennon songs.  And this is Paul’s post!”  To that I say, these songs were attributed to Lennon/McCartney, and that’s what I’m going with.  Cope.  And, just to make you angrier, here’s a song written by George Harrison.  HA.

You might notice, also, I’m skewing towards the later songs by The Beatles.  Well, I like them better.  Again.  Cope.  The Beatles should bring us closer together, not farther apart!  Fine.  Hippies.  An earlier song by Paul.  Jeez.

So that’s it.  You already knew who The Beatles were.  But that was fun, right?  takepart to get your free vegetarian starter kit.
