Good news Mac users - we can finally “watch now” on Netflix!  There is a new Mac beta on the site that allows us to also impulsively watch movies whenever we feel like it.   You just need to go to Netflix.com/silverlightoptin and download the right stuff for your computer and you’ll have tons of movies right at your fingertips for immediate viewing! (Like me, I’m loading David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers right now!)

Although, it should be said that if you have slow or choppy internet connection this may not be for you.  The movie streams and anytime your internet connection is interrupted an annoying red screen pops up announcing that is fixing your stream.   So it seems you won’t be able to do other things whilst watching your instant gratification Netflix, which is probably how it should be. Who knows, maybe this is Netflix’s attempt to make sure people focus on the movie - not a bad idea.
