Keep a Child Alive’s Annual Black Ball Returns Posted by Gina Telaroli on November 13, 2008 at 11:52 am

So tonight I get to do something that is super fun and for a good cause! I’m volunteering at Keep A Child Alive’s annual Black Ball.  Keep a Child Alive is a great charity that was founded by Alicia Keys and Leigh Blake in an effort to provide “life-saving anti-retroviral treatment, care and support services to children and their families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and the developing world by directly engaging the global public in the fight against AIDS.”

The Black Ball is a truly extraordinary event that honors folks who are making real change. This year the honorees include Simon Fuller, Queen Latifiah and Jackie Branfield. Plus there will be performances from Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and many more (so exciting!).  And most importantly money will be raised for a cause that really needs it.

takepart to make a difference with Keep a Child Alive today and go after the jump for a video from my favorite Justin Timberlake song!
