The current girlfriend of William Balfour, the main suspect in the Hudson family deaths, told police Balfour confessed that he killed Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother, but not the death of Hudson’s nephew, Julian King.

Balfour, 27, is the husband to Hudson’s sister, Julia Hudson, but they are separated. Balfour was on parole for a 1999 attempted murder conviction, when linked to the Oct. 24 Hudson murders, his parole was revoked and he was returned to prison. Balfour has a preliminary hearing tomorrow where, if the board finds that Balfour has not violated his parole, he could be set free Monday.
