We’ve followed David Letterman’s thoughts on the election throughout the campaign, so it only seems appropriate to post his post-election thoughts. Not surprisingly he still seems bitter at McCain for missing his appearance on the show (and rightly so!)

Other good points brought up

1. Being humble,nice and not crazy might have helped McCain
2. I too wish Obama could start today - although I suppose a smooth transition is needed.
3. Americans do tend to do things based on their television/movie heroes.

And hey, if you’re feeling super inspired and don’t want it to stop, takepart and apply for a job in the Obama White House.
