GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin was recently pranked by a Montreal DJ pretending to be French President Nicolas Sarkozy in a phone conversation with the Governor. The Master Avengers, a Quebec based radio comedy duo , pulled a ruse on the Palin and her staff, with one pretending to be Sarkozy’s assistant and the other taking on the role Monsieur President himself. Palin doesn’t seem to get that she’s being put on, despite being asked ridiculous questions and being told by the pretender that he can see Belgium from his house. Instead the Governor let’s the conversation drag on for six minutes until being told by the comedian himself that she’s being pranked. Although Palin isn’t alone in falling for the duo’s routine, with Sarkozy himself and former French President Jacques Chirac being previous victims.
