Halloween is around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about costumes and parties. Â I had my first taste of Halloween this past Saturday when I went to a 1930’s “New Depression” party thrown by friend and blogger Joanna Goddard. Â I decided it would be wrong to buy a new outfit for a “New Depression” party and searched through my closet to find an outfit. Â Given the economic crisis making a costume from things you already have seems like a mighty fine idea and even cooler is getting together with your friends to make a theme decision. Â If everyone decides to dress in a certain way you’ll all look good (safety in numbers) and you’ll save money. Woo hoo!
We’ll have more in the coming days on cheap ways you can dress up this Halloween but for now here are pictures from the “New Depression” party - enjoy!

Speaking of cheap good clothes, takepart with the Goodwill!
