It’s Monday and the headlines all read of election smears or economic meltdown. So before you dive into those, watch the trailer below - somehow I believe it puts it all into perspective.

I almost don’t know what to think of this except that it’s a lot of Jean-Claude Van Damme and he appears to be making fun of Jean-Claude Van Damme and somehow to me that is refreshing.   You get the fun of action with something that might be semi-intelligent and FRENCH ACCENTS. Score.

But of course the election and the economy are important and the chances of JCVD saving us is slim.   So, takepart to read an article about the economy and also takepart to read an article about the election.

And hopefully you are reading this from your home as it is Columbus Day.. a holiday I feel a bit strange about, but alas, what can you do?
