I think it’s safe to say I will be posting stuff from zenhabits.net on this site every few weeks. I just find this site by blogger Leo Babauta so inspiring. He talks about all that feel-good stuff we often forget to discuss because we’re too busy gabbing about the crappy economy or crappy celebrity gossip.
Today Zen Habits has a wonderful piece called “Success Isn’t a Competition: Boosting Others Helps You in the Long Run.” I think that title sums up things quite nicely.
Here are the three main points Babauta makes:
- Striving for success does not requre competition.
- Boosting others actually helps you, in the long run.
- Envy of others’ success and trying to tear others down helps NO ONE.

And be sure to http://zenhabits.net for yourself by getting zen habits sent right to your inbox sign up at http://zenhabits.net. Wouldn’t that be a nice gem of goodness to receive between all your work email madness?
