Success Isn’t A Competition Posted by Giulia Rozzi on October 2, 2008 at 5:43 pm

I think it’s safe to say I will be posting stuff from zenhabits.net on this site every few weeks. I just find this site by blogger Leo Babauta so inspiring. He talks about all that feel-good stuff we often forget to discuss because we’re too busy gabbing about the crappy economy or crappy celebrity gossip.

Today Zen Habits has a wonderful piece called “Success Isn’t a Competition: Boosting Others Helps You in the Long Run.” I think that title sums up things quite nicely.

Here are the three main points Babauta makes:

  1. Striving for success does not requre competition.
  2. Boosting others actually helps you, in the long run.
  3. Envy of others’ success and trying to tear others down helps NO ONE.
  4. To read the rest of this wonderful piece click here.

And be sure to http://zenhabits.net for yourself by getting zen habits sent right to your inbox sign up at http://zenhabits.net. Wouldn’t that be a nice gem of goodness to receive between all your work email madness?
