The Google Offering $10 Million for “Ideas That Can Change the World” Posted by Jon Popham on September 25, 2008 at 10:31 am

The Google, those wunderkinds of Internet search, are turning 10 years old this month and, as is their way, they have presents in store for all of us. The remarkably successful Silicon Valley based technology company is starting a $10 Million program to implement ideas that will “change the world by helping as many people as possible.”

The initiative, called Project 10 to the 100th (As in 100th power. Exponentially speaking. What do you want? These guys were Stanford Math Wizards.), will be calling for ideas from the public that will improve people’s lives. The ideas can be big or small, cheap or mucho expensivo, but they should be geared to try and help as many people’s lives as possible. Submissions will be taken up until October 20th, at which time Google will select what it considers to be the 100 Top Ideas. Google users will then vote for the Top 20 ideas out of the 100. Finally a panel of judges will select from these 20 finalists the Five Ideas that will get funding. You can watch a little video from Google featuring a catchy tune and some snazzy animation about the project below:

You can takepart by checking out Project 10 to the 100th and submitting your great ideas that will change the world.

ONE Goverment selected by all humans living on the planet. One currency, No discrimination, errespective off race, sex or religious believes. No war, This is a waste of money , the money spend on warfare can be implimented to helped people out of poverty. We are all human beings with the same desires and not one person has the right to one breath of oxygen more. than the next persons standing next to us or anywhere on the planet. GOD, WILL THIS BE POSSIBLE ONE DAY ?.

Worldwide offer every working person and people that accept benefits from their respective governments the opportunity to donate $1 a week from their income. These funds go into a global account. These funds are looked after by a committee consisting of 1 humanitarian from each country voted on by their peers from that country. This committee looks after the investing of the funds and vote on it’s allocation to the most needy in the world at that time. $1 a week isn’t much although when combined and invested wisely it can fix global poverty sooner rather than later.
