(try to ignore the cheesy Entertainment Tonight stuff)

Sigh, I kind of wish I lived in a 1950’s movie - minus the fact that woman lead incredibly limited lives.    But seriously Revolutionary Road looks kind of amazing and is soooo right up my alley - although I can see how it could easily turn into cheese - like the ET lady saying, “Leo and Kate may have lost their way, but have they lost their dreams?”  This kind of talk works in a Douglas Sirk films but not in a movie that tries to take itself too seriously.  

As I always say in these posts, we shall see.   For now, takepart to watch some Douglas Sirk and get into that 1950s movie frame of mind.
