Actor, director, environmentalist, film festival founder… it’s hard to not to admire Robert Redford. He made movies that changed American cinema, and his efforts to keep American cinema independent are admirable (although I would offer on some level unsuccessful). And in the past few years he’s become a leader in bringing environmental issues to the forefront. His work with activism, cinema and the environment makes Robert Redford the perfect TakePart man - so Happy 72nd Birthday Mr. Redford.
