Maybe it really is the “happiest place on earth”? Three McDonald’s restaurants at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim will close Sept. 2. You don’t remember seeing the Golden Arches at the happiest place on earth? That’s because they were cleverly disguised as Burger Invasion, Conestoga Fries and Harbour Galley even though menu items include Big Macs.
Disney has been trying to promote healthy eating habits since 2006 when it introduced new food guidelines for restaurants and other parties wanted to license its popular characters.
“We are considering a number of concepts that will offer our guests a wide variety of food options,” Disneyland spokeswoman Lisa Haines said.  And don’t worry, “Disney’s parks continue to have a relationship with McDonald’s.”
