Bernie Mac, comedian, husband and owner of one of the most charismatic smiles I have ever seen, passed away yesterday at age 50 of complications from pneumonia. Mac had a unique sense of humor and has been making people laugh since 1977, although he didn’t become well known until he started doing television and film in 1992.
I think George Clooney said it best yesterday when he said, “”The world just got a little less funny. He will be missed dearly.”
So take some time today, watch a Bernie Mac movie or comedy special (or the clips below) and laugh, smile and celebrate the life of a very funny man. The first clip below isn’t necessarily his funniest (those are after the jump)- but it seems fitting.
Also, takepart and learn more about the Chicago White Sox Charities, Mac was a long time Chicago White Sox fan.
