Congress Moves to Ban Cellphones on Airplanes in Flight

A U.S. House committee just recommended making permanent a ban cellphone use on airplanes while in flight.
From the AP: “One lawmaker said his wife sat next to a woman who loudly discussed her sex life on the phone.”
Sure, our reps don’t want to hear about other peoples’ sex lives (unless they involve cigars or Congressional pages), but the first time some legislator can’t immediately reach a Jack Abramoff type to fleece some money from paraplegic orphans, this ban will be repealed faster than you can say, “freedom fries.”
