This was reported to be a video montage of some of the craziest alien-looking plants on earth, a few of which had what appeared to be gaping mouths and blinking eyes with lashes! Sadly, when I got to the end of the accompanying article, the writer added a correction at the bottom stating that the video was actually CGI. Still, it’s pretty cool, as is the music, and you certainly won’t regret taking a couple of minutes out of your day to enjoy.

Scientists estimate that there could be anywhere from 5 to 100 plant species on earth, and we’ve only identified 2 million of them. Who knows? Maybe there are freaky species like these hiding under a magic mushroom somewhere.
