If you thought global warming was a metaphorical pain before, research suggests that pain is going to become quite literal. Â Scientists and researchers based out of the University of Texas, Dallas have concluded that due to climate change, up to 2.25 million more Americans will have kidney stones by 2050 than do now.
Kidney stones are calcium deposits caused by dehydration and low urine volume (I know, gross), and NewScientist.com states that these are “factors likely to rise as temperatures creep up.” Says the article,
In the US, about 13% of men and 7% of women experience kidney stones during their lives, yet those rates can double in a patch of the South nicknamed the ‘kidney stone belt’.
Kidney-stone hospitalisations tend to peak after a hot summer, and a recent US Army study also found a spike in kidney stones in soldiers, three months after they arrived in Iraq.
The logic, therefore, is that hotter temperatures all year will equal more kidney stones all year. Â Which is pretty much the exact opposite of awesome, from what I’ve heard about kidney stones. Â So stay hydrated, kids, cause drinking a lot of water can prevent the stones from being created. Â Also, takepart here to see some solutions to climate change.

One can only imagine this being potentially compounded by the burgeoning scarcity of potable water over the next century.
whel where do I start, I gess with what I beleive, that global warming is not real, just hear me out though. The chemical that is supposedly causeing this hole in the Ozone is heavier than the seven layers of atmosphere beetween the ground and Ozone. I mean has anyone ever even considered the math here. And if thats not enough Ozone is naturaly created by oxygen beeing heated up and bonding to other oxygen and thus Ozone is formed that heat in nature usualy comes from the sun so this Ozone hole is createing more Ozone somewhere. What I personaly think is causeing this Ozone hole and the heating up of our planet is something far more natural. There was a study done on ancient potteries and ever coulple of centuries the magnetic poles switched this was also backed up by a computer model. what some scientists believe is that we are on the tail end of that cycle and our magnetic poles will grow weaker and weaker until they switch. this in turn causes the van allen radiation belt to weaken which then causes more of the suns rays to hit our planet which then destroys the ozone layer so eventualy we wont have an ozone layer until the poles switch and the planet can begin repairing the ozone layer. The heat from the lack of an ozone layer will in return repair it and it is all just one big cycle.
However what has comeabout from this false claim of global warming being our fault, has been good a reduction in polution is alwayse good for any and all forms of life if you are going to go green go for it. I only have issues with the science behind Al gore’s theory. People should quit acting blindly and think for themselves afterall were not sheep
