ANOTHER eco-disaster flick to hit the big screen? Ah well, they say art imitates life, although the idea of Mischa Barton playing a rickshaw driver turned sweatshop chemical plant worker strikes me as a little unparalleled. In any case, Barton and actor/activist Martin Sheen are set to star in the new film Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. For those who aren’t familiar with the 1984 Bhopal, India disaster, it was one of the worst chemical spills in history, killing almost 15,000 people and injuring countless others. For more on the film, click here. You can also takepart and find out how you can get involved in the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal.
