John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel and meteorologist for one of my local news stations, spoke to the San Diego Chamber of Commerce (I believe) yesterday in order to discuss global warming. Â Or, as far as he’s concerned, the lack thereof. Â As Coleman states quite bluntly,
“There is no significant man made global warming. Â There has not been any in the past, there is none now and there is no reason to fear any in the future.”
He can’t get much clearer than that.  The “silliness” of the global warming frenzy, as he calls it, is “an amazing fraud…a scam.” Coleman, who founded an entire channel devoted entirely to tracking the weather around the world, has also posted the text of his speech on KUSI.com, the news channel here in San Diego for which he is the weatherman.  The crazy, crazy weatherman.  Let’s let him speak.
I have dug through thousands of pages of research papers, including the voluminous documents published by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Â I have worked my way through complicated math and complex theories. Here’s the bottom line: the entire global warming scientific case is based on the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from the use of fossil fuels. Â They don’t have any other issue. Â Carbon Dioxide, that’s it.
Hello Al Gore; Hello UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Â Your science is flawed; your hypothesis is wrong; your data is manipulated. Â And, may I add, your scare tactics are deplorable. Â The Earth does not have a fever. Â Carbon dioxide does not cause significant global warming.
Coleman, who studies the weather for a living, goes on to explain that this scam, this farce of science, is at risk of destroying our “wonderful way of life.” Already, “the global warming myth actually has lead to the chaos we are now enduring with energy and food prices.”
You can read the rest of the speech here, but I think a better use of your time might be to takepart and read about the science of global warming as a rebuttal.

As an FYI, when I say “crazy, crazy weatherman,” I am not referring to his stances on global warming. His forecast segments are quite literally semi-surreal due to his quirkiness. Couldn’t find a good youtube to prove it, though.
I wonder whose ‘wonderful way of life’ he is referring to?!
The children on this planet or his own.
