But it isn’t oil that has put us into this state - in fact, it’s much simpler. We need a response like USA for Africa from the 1980’s but ten times larger! We could lose 10% of the global population to famine by the end of the decade and the news keeps worsening!

The global food crisis was created by hyper inflation, which itself was caused by the Iraqi occupation. Since the dollar ist he world’s reserve currency nations have to buy oil in dollars. HIgher fuel prices result in higher food prices. The end result is what we see here. Genetically modified food, with its proven health risks, is in danger of coming to the fore at our dinner tables.
