Ed Begley Jr. is best known for his Emmy-Award winning role on St. Elsewhere as well as countless TV, film, and stage performances on other shows, lately though he has been getting recognition for his environmental work. With his earth friendly TV show “Living with Ed” and book “Living Like Ed” Begley is making a green difference.
Check out Gothamist today for a great interview with the actor/activist. And if you are in New York City you can meet Begley tonight, 7pm at the Strand Bookstore where he’ll be signing copies of his book. The event is hosted by the organization Environmental Defense
a great organization working to find practical environmental solutions.

I absolutely love his show. This guy is not just jumping on the “green bandwagon” cause it’s fashionable. Ed is the real deal!
