Naomi Watts and Valerie Plame Wilson Say "Cut Nukes" (VIDEO)

One woman is probably the most famous spy in America. And the other is the acclaimed actress who portrayed her on the Big Screen.
On Wednesday both women came together to offer their own solution for solving America's federal budget mess: take a sledgehammer to our nuclear weapons budget.
Naomi Watts and Valerie Plame Wilson have filmed a new public service announcement urging the so-called Super Committee—which is charged with finding $1.2 trillion in spending cuts—to protect funding for education and other programs.
"We're both mothers, and along with Global Zero, we're urging our government to invest our tax dollars in essential things like education, jobs, healthcare and not in useless, dangerous weapons that belong in the dustbin of history," says Plame Wilson.
The video was produced by Global Zero, an international organization dedicated to creating a world without nuclear weapons. Global Zero partnered with TakePart's parent company, Participant Media, for the social action campaign accompanying the documentary Countdown To Zero, which featured Plame Wilson.
