Alison Singh Gee

Alison Singh Gee is an international journalist who won the 1997 Amnesty International Award for Feature Writing for her Asiaweek cover story about child prostitution in Southeast Asia. Her memoir, Where the Peacocks Sing: A Prince, a Palace and the Search for Home, chronicles her discovery that her husband grew up in a 100-room palace in India.
