Congressman Ted Cruz spent 21 hours this week talking on the hill,
to rail against the healthcare law as if it was still a bill.
He quoted Dr. Seuss, Star Wars and Ashton Kutcher,
and pretended to trim legislative fat like he's a butcher.
...Okay, we'll stop adulterating nursery rhymes like Green Eggs and Ham, but we thought Cruz's idea of "elevating the debate" with his pseudo-filibuster, as he told ABC News, was pretty funny considering what he actually said.
The Daily Show's Jon Stewart nailed it with his reading of one of our favorite Dr. Seuss classics, casting Ted Cruz as The Bore-ax.
