With Osama bin Laden dead, Canada's mission in Afghanistan is done.

After nearly ten years fighting in Afghanistan as part of Operation Kill or Capture Osama bin Laden, the Canadian military plans to withdraw all combat troops by the end of July.

Canada's contribution to the campaign for enduring freedom included the lives of 157 soldiers, one diplomat, two aid workers, and a journalist.
