Go Barefoot Today and Buy New Kicks to Help Kids Without Shoes

If you're wearing shoes today, it's time to take them off...

No, that doesn't mean you should go home from work, rest your worried feet and crawl back into your pajamas. It means it's TOMS Shoes annual One Day Without Shoes.

TOMS Shoes is a company that practices the one for one model. When you buy a pair of shoes, another pair is given to a child in need.

So now that you've taken off your shoes and picked the fuzz out from between your toes, we'll tell you why your going barefoot on April 5.

Today, thousands of people across the country are coming together to raise awareness about the children in developing countries that walk for miles without shoes increasing their risk of infection and disease. Also, many of these kids are not allowed to attend school unless they have shoes.
