Licia Ronzulli, an Italian member of the European Parliament, is a pro at balancing work and motherhood. A few months ago, the working mom cradled her newborn baby during a voting session, and on December 16, she brought the infant back to work again.

While Mom is all business, her little one is all cuteness snuggled in her hat.

Ronzulli responded to the flurry of attention that followed her baby's first appearance at a voting session by saying:

It was not a political gesture. It was first of all a maternal gesture—that I wanted to stay with my daughter as much as possible, and to remind people that there are women who do not have this opportunity [to bring their children to work], that we should do something to talk about this.

The baby girl seems to have enjoyed her time with Mom, but has had enough politics for one day.

Boy, parliament is exhausting. (Photo: Vincent Kessler/Reuters)
