This little eastern grey kangaroo is named Baby Boomer. He is just 11 months old.

When he was just 8 weeks old, Boomer lost his mom to a car collision, and he was rescued by Comet Inn owners Kathy and Greg Noble of Hartley Vale, Australia.

In Australia, there are more kangaroos than people, but only one of those two groups is at risk of habitat loss.

Here are a few facts about the roos:

Male kangaroos are two to three times larger than females, the animals communicate by clucking, and joeys (baby kangaroos) live in their moms' pouches for nine months.

We think Baby Boomer is adorable, but let us know in the comment box below if you can find a cuter marsupial.
