Video of the Day: 'We All Good People'

"Somewhere between the Mediterranean and the Jordan" is all filmmaker Grant Slater wrote to describe his lush, lyrical two-part video series "We All Good People."

The short films—which feel more like companion music videos featuring the Jerusalem-based band Jack In the Box—create a visual portrait of Israeli and Palestinian people outside of the sensationalistic headlines and tragic violence, instead focusing on the shared humanity that is lost in the rote stereotypes of ethnic conflict.

The result is simple and poetic, but undeniably beautiful. Take a look below.
