VIDEO: Health Care Reform Hits Main Street

Following the lead of Wilt Chamberlain, Adam vacated his native Philadelphia for Los Angeles following decades of acclaim and short shorts. He firmly believes that, when it comes to the opportunity for change, we’re on the goal line with bases loaded and no fouls to give. He also finds inspiration in mixed sports metaphors.

Take it from Sesame Street, when it comes to feeding new and relatively complex ideas into uninitiated minds, it’s best to keep it simple, keep it fun, and if possible, make it cute.

Evidently the same approach works to make the massively complex and parched-dry details of the health care reform act easy to swallow.

Thanks to this simple animated video from the Kaiser Family Foundation and Free Range Studios, the health care act set to affect a whole mess of Americans is well within the demographic of Main Steet—yet fun enough for the real estate on Sesame Street.
