From Greenpeace: "Several recent news articles quote a Kimberly-Clark (K-C) spokesman as saying that Americans demand forest destruction for toilet paper: From The Guardian: "Dave Dixon, a company spokesman, said toilet paper and tissue from recycled fibre had been on the market for years. If Americans wanted to buy them, they could." He simultaneously bragged that nearly half a million metric tons of deforestation is some sort of improvement in the company's practices.
