Tell Congress to Support Children’s Literacy
Reading Is Fundamental is asking you to petition Congress and urge lawmakers to continue funding the Department of Education’s Innovate Approaches to Literacy grant competition. In 2012, Congress appropriated $28 million in funding grants for literacy innitiatives. In hopes of continuing their fight to help children succeed, Reading Is Fundamental wants you to tell Congress not to cut funding for 2013.
