Take the Freedom to Marry Pledge

Don’t you think it’s about time everyone can marry whomever he/she loves? In the land of the free, same-sex couples in only six states, plus the District of Columbia, are legally allowed to marry. California and Washington are getting closer to joining these states. On February 7 in California, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the statewide ban on same-sex marriage and on Febuary 8, Washington state lawmakers passed the gay marriage bill. This bill is expected to go to the governor's desk next week.
