Stop Antibiotic Abuse on Factory Farms

Four-fifths of the antibiotics used in the United States are given to completely healthy farm animals.

Why? Antibiotics don't just treat bacterial illness, they also make these animals gain weight. Unfortunately, filling animal feed with antibiotics causes nasty side effects for both animals and humans. 

Force-feeding animals antibiotics helps breed antibiotic-resistant superbugs (bacteria that antibiotics can't kill). And every year over 70,000 Americans die because of bacterial resistance. 

Tell President Obama that you want to end antibiotic overuse in food animals.
