Hurricane Sandy has caused widespread devastation throughout the east coast, destroying homes, uprooting communities and leaving millions without power. In the midst of an emergency, animals can become separated from their owners, without anyone to take care of them. They need our help!
The Humane Society of the United States is working with animal shelters and local governments to make sure that these animals get the care they need. They’re also helping evacuees locate pet-friendly shelters in their neighborhoods.
