Girl Scouts: Make Your Cookies Rainforest-Safe

The palm oil in Girl Scout cookies causes rainforest deforestation, endangers thousands of species, including Sumatran orangutans, and contributes to human rights abuses. That's why two girls from Michigan—Madison Vorva and Rhiannon Tomtishen—started a campaign asking the Girl Scouts USA to eliminate unsustainable palm oil from all of their cookies.

The girls have been campaigning to save orangutans for five years. Their dogged efforts led to 70,000 signatures on a Change.org petition that was delivered to Girl Scouts USA. Still, despite this overwhelming support for orangutans, the organization says that consumers just don't care about palm oil.

Tell them they're wrong by signing this petition to ensure no more orangutans are killed!

@ParkersForChrist - Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. GS does great things for our young girls/women. THEY aren't murdering innocent babies. Jesus would hope that you are a little more compassionate than that (and a better speller/writer!).
Yes, but I will no longer support girl scouts. They support planned parenthood. I am a believer of Jesus, I have 5 beautiful children and if you want to support a organization that is in support of abortion. That is your call, but I won't be a part of murdering innocent babies. God gave us a moral compose. This world doesn't always have one.
