%3Cp%3EIn%20one%20of%20the%20longest%20studies%20ever%20conducted%20on%20organic%20farming%20practices%2C%20research%20by%20the%20US-based%20Rodale%20Institute%20has%20found%20that%20organic%20soil%20management%20not%20only%20minimizes%20fossil%20fuel%20use%2C%20it%20can%20also%20reduce%20atmospheric%20carbon%20dioxide%20by%20removing%20it%20from%20the%20air%20and%20storing%20it%20as%20carbon%20in%20the%20soil.%20Scientists%20at%20the%20institute%20estimate%20that%20if%20organic%20practices%20such%20as%20planting%20cover%20crops%2C%20composting%20and%20crop%20rotation%20were%20implemented%20on%20the%20planet%E2%80%99s%203.5%20billion%20tillable%20acres%2C%20nearly%2040%20percent%20of%20current%20CO2%20emissions%20could%20be%20absorbed.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A
