Use the Eat Well Guide to Find Local Food

60 billion animals are raised for the purpose of consumption each year, the majority in CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feed Operations).

Be certain your meals come from sources that keep the animals, consumers and farms healthy by choosing local, sustainable food. Not only is each purchase a vote for fresh, healthy food, it is a vote against factory farms.

Support independent farmers—and your own heath. Buy local.

"We are heading to carnage. Carnage which had been put to a stop. There is no prevention programme that can succeed without treatment." -- Peter Mugyeni, head of Uganda's Joint Clinical Research Center, speaking about the Obama Administration's freeze on HIV/AIDS spending in several African countries.
